(This is a sticky post, see newer posts below). A selection of contributions I have made to Buddhist Studies
Bhikkhu Sumedha’s final wish was to help to establish a Burn’s Unit at the Peradeniya Hospital and today there is a commemorative event which we hope will lead to the establishment of the Unit.
In this video Bhikkhu Bodhi talks about how he and some friends came to start Buddhist Global Relief. The video was made around 6 months after the organisation was set up in 2007.
Infographics by Christian Guthier which illustrate the energy curve of history, the limits of growth and the ecological disaster ahead.
In the talk Bhikkhu Moneyya talks about the qualities that make for good parenting, and how the example a parent sets can and will influence their children for better or for worse.
Before I was the resident monk in the Bodhi Lankarama temple in Taiping. One of the last programmes we did there before I left was an Educare programme which was held on Sunday 17th January.
