The Pali Text Society was a pioneer in the publication of texts and translations from the Pāḷi Canon, and published the Canon in Roman script long before the texts were published in indigenous scripts in the various Theravāda countries.
Unfortunately, however, they never kept up with the digital age. Their original website was made with frames, making every page unaddressable; and their new website, made this year, gives no proper index of the works they publish. (They also have very few works available in PDF or EPUB, or any modern digital format.)
I have therefore produced this page which indexes all their publications following a logical sequence, everybody can understand. Note that the links go to their website and find both the Pāḷi text and Translations, and other related works from the one link.
Also links to sets, for instance, to the Book of the Discipline, find the whole set and the individual works, in both Pāli and English. Commentaries are listed after the work they comment on, and are indented to identify them better.
Quite a few of these publications have been released under a Creative Commons license, and I have linked to these in PDF format for ease of access.
I have also included all the Journals of the Pali Text Society and given their contents as well, as these often contain very important information about specific topics to do with Pāḷi studies. Note that all of these Journals are free PDF downloads.
It is possible that I have missed works, or that works have been published since I prepared this page, if you know of any please write to me at anandajoti@gmail.com and let me know the name of the work that is missing, and I will do my best to add it in.
